Clearing app cache or data
Sometimes clearing the cache or data may solve an issue you are experiencing with the app.
The steps below might differ slightly depending on your phone.
- 1.Go to your Settings app
- 2.Scroll to Apps
- 3.Select the app e.g. BibleSA
- 4.Select Storage
- 5.Select Clear cache
If this does not help, go through steps 1-4 and instead of Clear cache, select Clear data.
No internet
Internet access is necessary for the BibleSA app except where you have downloaded a Bible to read offline. We have noticed a problem if you have downloaded more than one Bible.
- Please try clearing the app cache or data.
You might need to download your Bible again.
For our other apps, internet access is only necessary for the initial registration page and for the synchronization account. We are aware of a few cases where you are not able to use the app because of no internet connection.
- Try changing your method of connecting to the Internet e.g. if you are connected over mobile data, change to Wi-Fi.
