Biblical Scholarship

The Bible has been studied by scholars for centuries. Study of the Bible was always concerned with three things:

establishing the precise text of the Bible;
researching the meaning of the words of the Hebrew and Greek (the languages in which the Bible is written);
interpreting the Bible.
