Isaiah 12

₁On that day you will say:

‘Lord, I want to praise You

because You were angry with me,

but You are not angry anymore

and now You are good to me.

₂You are the God who will save me.

This I believe and I will not be afraid.

The Lord makes me strong,

and I want to sing about Him.

He is my Saviour.’

₃You will be happy and rejoice

when you get water

from the Fountain_of_Salvation.

₄On that day you will say:

‘Praise the Lord. Tell everyone who He is,

tell all the people what He has done,

and tell them that He is more important than anything.

₅Sing and praise the Lord because

He has done something wonderful.

Tell it to everyone on earth.

₆You who live in Zion,

you must be happy and rejoice

because the holy God of Israel

is with you and He is strong.’
