I want to know how to live in the right way
This is a Psalm of David.
1Lord, I will sing about
your love that never changes.
I will sing about You who are
always fair, and I will play music.
2I will think of how to be innocent
because I want to live in the right way.
When will You come to me?
I want to be honest in my house.
3I don't want to do anything
bad or anything against You.
I hate the things that sinful people do,
and I will never do those things.
4I don't want to be false or dishonest,
and I don't want to do anything wrong.
5I will stop anyone who
says bad things behind his hand
about other people.
I will not be friends with proud people
or someone who does not want to be humble.
6I will choose only people
who are faithful and who live in the right way
to work for Me.
Only innocent people may be my servants.
7In my house there may be no one
who deceives other people.
No one who tells lies may work for Me.
8Every morning I will destroy
the sinful people in the land,
and everyone who does things that are wrong
will disappear from the city of God.
