*Psalms 99

₁The Lord is King, and people must tremble.

He sits on his throne above the cherub-angels,

and the earth must tremble.

₂The Lord is great in Zion

where they praise Him.

He rules over all nations.

₃Lord, let them praise

your great and wonderful name.

Your name is holy.

₄You are the strong King who

loves to be fair and righteous.

You told everyone in the land_of_Israel

to do what is right for all the people.

₅Praise the Lord our God

and worship Him. He is holy.

₆Moses and Aaron were 2 of his priests,

and Samuel was one of the people

who prayed to Him.

They prayed to the Lord

and He answered them.

₇He talked to them from a cloud

and they obeyed the laws that He gave them.

₈O Lord our God,

You answered them.

You showed them

that You forgive people's sins

but that You punish them

for the wrong things that they do.

₉Praise the Lord our God

and worship Him at his holy_mountain,

because the Lord our God is holy.
