₁He says:

‘Princess, your 2 feet are very beautiful

in your sandals,

and your hips look like jewels

that an artisan has made.

₂Your navel is like a round bowl

full of herbal wine,

and your body is like a heap of wheat

with flowers all around it.

₃Your 2 breasts are like 2 young deer,

like the twin lambs of a gazelle.

₄Your neck is like a tower of ivory,

and your eyes are like dams at the city of Heshbon,

like the dams at the gate of Bath-Rabbim.

Your nose is like the tower on Mount Lebanon

that looks towards the city of Damascus.

₅Your head is like Mount Carmel,

and your hair is like the clothes that a king wears.

He looks at it all the time.

₆My darling, you are beautiful,

very good-looking.

You have many things that I can enjoy.

₇You stand upright like a palm tree,

and your breasts are like bunches of dates.
