*Psalms 121

₁I look up to the mountains and I ask:

‘Is there someone who can help me?’

₂The Lord is the One who will help me.

He made heaven and earth.

₃He will not let you fall

or be defeated. He protects you,

and He doesn't sleep.

₄The Lord protects the Israelites,

and He never becomes tired or sleeps.

₅The Lord guards you.

He is always with you like shade

that protects you from the hot sun.

₆The sun will not burn you during the day,

and the moon will not make you sick at night.

₇The Lord will protect you from all the dangers,

and your life will be safe.

₈The Lord will protect you

wherever you go.

He will be with you, now and forever.
