The Lord is the most important on earth
1The Lord is King.
The earth must rejoice
and the islands must be happy.
2No one can see the Lord,
because there are dark clouds around Him,
but He always does what is right
and He judges fairly.
That is how He rules.
3There is a big fire before Him
that burns all his enemies around Him.
4His lightning lights up the world
and when the earth sees it, it trembles.
5The mountains melt like wax before the Lord,
because He is the Lord of all the earth.
6Heaven brings the news
that God is good and righteous,
and all the people can see his glory.
7All the people who serve images
and boast about their useless idols
will be humiliated.
All the gods must bow down
before the Lord and worship Him.
8Zion will be happy when the Lord
judges his enemies.
All the towns of Judah will rejoice
because the Lord will punish their enemies.
9Yes, O Lord,
You are more important than anyone on earth.
You are greater and stronger than all the gods.
10All you people who love the Lord,
must hate bad and sinful things.
The Lord protects the people
who believe in Him.
He saves them from cruel people
who do wrong.
11There is a light that shines
in the lives of people who live in the right way,
and honest people will always be happy.
12People who do what is right
must be happy because
you belong to the Lord.
