All people must praise the Lord
1You must praise the Lord.
I want to thank the Lord where
all the people of God are together,
all the people who are righteous.
2The Lord has done
great and wonderful things.
Everyone who loves what the Lord has done
thinks about them and tries to understand them.
3His works are full of glory,
like that of a king,
and what He does shows that He is righteous forever.
4His miracles and goodness are so great
that people can never forget them.
He is always gracious and
full of mercy to people who suffer.
5He gives food to people who serve Him.
He always remembers his covenant.
6He showed his people how strong He is
when He gave them the lands
that had belonged to other nations.
7Everything that He does shows
that He is faithful and fair,
and anyone can trust what He says.
8His laws will be true forever and ever.
People must obey his laws faithfully and honestly.
9When the Lord saved
his people from Egypt,
He told them that his covenant
with them would be forever.
His name is holy,
and everyone must fear Him.
10If anyone wants to have wisdom,
He must honour and serve the Lord.
If someone really wants to be wise,
he must do what God wants.
People must praise the Lord.
They must praise Him forever.
