The past 20 months have been filled with challenges for all of us. Some of us were laid off at work. Others had to close the doors of a business. Still others had to say goodbye to loved ones due to an invisible virus that changed what we perceive as “normal”. Between all the changes, we can be sure of one thing: God never changes. He is still in control of each of our lives. He knows our circumstances. He sees each of us.

This month I want to share a few thoughts regarding this theme: God sees us. For today, I am keeping the devotion short by sharing three promises that you can meditate upon:

  • Psalm 33:13-15: “From heaven the LORD looks down and sees all mankind; from his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth—he who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do.”
  • Matthew 10:30: “And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.”
  • Proverbs 15:3: “The eyes of the LORD are everywhere . . .”

God knows about our financial predicament, our heartache from a broken relationship, our challenge to our health and even our stress at work. Let us surrender our lives in faith to the God who is still that same God – Almighty and in control of the universe. God bless.

Prayer: Father God, thank you that I am not alone. Please fill me anew with your Holy Spirit so that I can experience your presence in a tangible way. I ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen
